On Tuesday 27 July, Apple decided to update the technical specifications of its Mac computers and provide new peripherals * on the same wave. While the Mac Mini had been updated on June 15 with a unibody design smaller, HDMI port and new graphics card; the Mac Pro and iMac were still waiting for an improvement.
Although not yet known when they arrive in Argentina, or what price they will have, happened to mention what are the improvements to these teams that really deserve to be taken into account:

As I was saying before, the exterior design is not changed: all changes come from the hand of their services. Broadly, the improvements are: "You can choose from two options for advanced Intel processor. The series Xeon Nehalem, which is available as a single processor quad-core at speeds up to 3.2 GHz, or Westmere series is available in both four and six cores, being that the Mac Pro may incorporate one or two processors. So you have a Mac Pro six-core to 3.33 GHz, a system eight cores at 2.4 GHz or a set of twelve cores to 2.93 GHz
-processors Intel Xeon processors support Hyper-Threading, which allows two processes to run simultaneously on each core. For example, the 12-core Mac Pro features 24 virtual cores Mac OS X recognizes.
-Increased memory bandwidth, compared to previous generations, thanks to an integrated memory controller is added to the fast DDR3 SDRAM ECC or 1,333 to 1,066 GHz
"The computer comes standard with the ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1 GB of GDDR5 memory, perfect for motion graphics, 3D modeling, rendering and animation. If you need more graphics power, can go a step further with the ATI Radeon HD 5870 with 1 GB of GDDR5 memory. This card differs from the previous because it has a larger memory bus and a GPU that offers better performance .
-The graphics card of the new Mac Pro comes with three ports for monitors, two Mini DisplayPort ports let you connect two monitors to Apple Cinema Display LED very easily, while a dual-link DVI port connects a Cinema Display Apple HD Display 30-inch or DVI monitor. Furthermore, as the Mac Pro supports up to two cards ATI Radeon HD 5770, you can connect up to six monitors.
"Now comes equipped with four internal hard drive bays for 3.5" that offer a large internal storage capacity: up to 8 TB to install four units of 2 TB SATA 3 Gb / s. But if you need speed over the storage capacity can be added up to four units of 512 GB solid-state memory or a mixture of hard disks and memory drives solid.
While it is undeniable that the specifications and much promise, it is best to wait until reviews come out and see as users say. That, and seeing arrive at what price. Because if previous versions were expensive and I do not want to imagine the numbers are going to have this monstrosity of a computer.
iMac

No touch screens, without a striking design, without a finish worthy of NASA, it's new iMac: a minor update of the key points of the desktop Apple's best-selling. Based on the same basis, it added some improvements on the computer. The main changes are:
"Now the full range of Intel processors has new technology, from i3 to the base model, through the Core i5 until the Core i7.
"The new iMac includes 4 GB of DDR3 RAM that works at 1333 MHz for all models, plus four SO-DIMM slots that can expand capacity to 16 GB.
"As for storage, you can get an iMac with a SATA HDD up to 2TB of space. In addition, Apple offers the option of combining the traditional HD disc a 256 GB SSD to install the operating system and other critical applications that can open them faster.
-In the graphic, the 21.5-inch iMac offers integrated graphics ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256 MB of dedicated memory, or ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512 MB of memory. With the 27-inch iMac, you can opt for the ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512 MB of memory or the ATI Radeon HD 5750 offers 1 GB of GDDR5 memory.
For those not familiar, the series is iMac computers whose CPU is built into the monitor. So it does not hurt to mention your screen with LED backlight, which comes in sizes of 21 and 27 inches (as mentioned earlier), with a contrast of 1000:1 and the screen comes with a widescreen in 16:9 (the same as of high-definition televisions). It also has Wi-Fi and an integrated iSight camera.
However, the most interesting thing is that now the iMac, and offer new features, it must be sold with the slogan "Magic Mouse and Trackpad Magic. Multi-Touch yes or yes. "Both are wireless technologies, and both are handled by exploiting Muti-Touch gestures. What does this mean? That the union between Mac OS and IOS is coming, and is increasingly closer.
